Think of being in a class when a teacher announces that we will write a paper today. The teacher hands a piece of paper to a student who is instructed to write the opening paragraph and then to pass the paper to the student one seat behind. This continues as each student adds one paragraph and passes the paper to another student until the last student, who must write the ending. Imagine the twists and turns the story would take. Imagine how different it would be from a story written by just one student. Now imagine if that happened, not in a classroom of similar students, but worldwide. Each contributor would have completely different life experiences to pull the story in different directions. The resulting concert of ideas is the very foundation of Literary Concert.
