The idea of this website is to discover what happens when different people, from all over the world, collaborate to create literature. Let me illustrate.

Imagine you are in a classroom and your teacher explains that the class will write a story today, but in a different way. The teacher hands the first student a blank paper and instructs that student to start the story with the opening paragraph. Once done, the student will pass the paper to the student one seat back. That student adds one paragraph to continue the story. The paper is added to and passed 30 more times as each student has their turn. Imagine the end result. It might be awful, but it might also be wonderfully creative and surprising.

Go to the Gallery and enter a Genre Room to contribute. You will see specific parts of the story where you can be creative. After you’ve done, save it for others to finish. This website challenges you to start a story that will invite others to complete. It also gives you the opportunity to add to a story started by others. It is your choice.

In order to provide some structure, there is a writing tutorial available. Follow it to improve your story telling. Or don’t.

This website allows the opportunity to create some wonderful literature. However, this isn’t one classroom where students are relatively the same, but it is the world where contributors’ life experience is dramatically different. You can write any genre from romance to horror to children’s books.
